I'm Kim Phong, a software engineer at GMO Financial Holdings in Tokyo with 4+ years of building mobile apps for the Japanese market. I work in Flutter and native iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, watchOS), and on the Node.js backends behind them — trading, fintech, healthcare and lifestyle apps, from development through launch.

I started my career in Hanoi and was promoted and relocated to the Tokyo headquarters in 2025. I work in Japanese and Vietnamese every day, enjoy turning Japanese product requirements into clean, maintainable code, and care about release tooling — Fastlane, Shorebird code push, CI/CD — as much as the UI.
